As the DFB revealed on Friday, the distribution between seasons 2023/24 and 2026/27 reaches a new measurement in German women’s football.
According to the association, a total of 20.7 million euros will be dispersed, i.e. 5.175 million euros per season.
90 percent are dispersed to the clubs (4.657 million euros).
The remaining 10 percent remain in the 3rd league -Bam, which will utilize this proceeds to very first gather across the country game data.
The TV cash is dispersed in equal parts to all clubs.
Unlike in the Bundesliga, the funds are not distributed staggered.
In view of the serious increase in media proceeds, it is a strong indication of uniformity that the serious distribution of income is preserved, says DFB Vice President Sabine Mammitzsch, who is responsible for women’s and ladies’ football.
We are persuaded that the increased funds will contribute to more strengthening and professionalization of the league and its clubs. These are excellent conditions to continue the extremely positive pattern, said Mammitzsch.
